The Lord called me to The Mission when I was living on the streets alone. I decided to take a leap of faith and join our discipleship program and go all in with God. God very quickly pushed me into the kitchen. I love to cook and I'm gifted with leadership skills.
My favorite part of serving at The Mission, is getting to watch our guests smile when they eat their food knowing they have been fed a good meal. Through my time working at the Mission, I have gotten to experience and see the Lord provide and care for the shelter. Over the years, I’ve learned how to be open and honest and think of others first.
This is not just a shelter but a healing home, and I’m happy to call this place home.
