No matter where you choose to mentor, Hope Cottage (for women) or The Mission (for men), you are making a difference in the lives of people working their way out of homelessness!  Barriers that others feel are too big to overcome, like applying for a job or a social security card or going to take a drivers license test are not overwhelming for most.  If you have been isolated and alone for years, these things become next to impossible.
