Crisis Relief

Crisis Relief Program

SRM is devoted to critical crisis relief since our inception in 1957. This is an urgent, short-term response to human crisis. It is intended to provide a safe bed, food and support for 7-30 days until the crisis has been averted. SRM's purpose is to support individuals seeking a path out of hopelessness and devastation. SRM's Crisis Relief Response is not intended to extend beyond 30 days unless unique circumstances apply.  Once individuals have found rest, nutrition and other basic needs have been met, they will be offered a voluntary path forward in the RISE Program at SRM.

Community-Wide Crisis: In the event of a winter blizzard or summer forest fire or other catastrophic event, SRM will respond, assisting everyone displaced or in distress, to the fullest extent possible. Our purpose involves human healing and recovery, therefore, we will still maintain safety and a drug and alcohol free facility when meeting a community-wide crisis.
