As you may have seen in the news, we have had to temporarily close our emergency services out of The Rescue Mission itself. Hope Cottage, Sanctuary House and the thrift store are fully operating. As we hire and train new staff we are also working to get several major plumbing and security-related building repairs done. This requires removing and re-installing a bathroom floor, and re-tiling. We are also needing to seal and paint a large shelter area and our main dining area.
Certainly, it was heart-breaking closing emergency services at The Rescue Mission. Thank you for any help you can provide in getting it back open.
